Professional Dog Groomer

True Vibes Unleashed is a Premium Dog Grooming Salon located in Shaker Heights, OH. We are cage-free and schedule one dog family at a time per groomer. The dogs in our care are picked up shortly after their service, creating a low-volume and calm atmosphere. We are looking to add an experienced groomer to our team who is confident with clients, quality-focused, and a team player.

Pay:

Groomers earn 50% commission on each groom + 100% of tips and are paid direct deposit once a week on Fridays.

Schedule:

Part-Time to start: 2-3 days a week between Monday-Thursday. 10am-4pm.

This position will become flexible full-time as your schedule fills. You can choose between Monday-Saturday, 7:30am-6:30pm. Three Saturdays a month are required.

We are closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.

The ideal candidate has:

• At least 4 years of dog grooming experience in a salon setting.

• Is able to achieve 4-5 high quality grooms start-to-finish in a day.

• Is able and willing to groom dogs up to 100lbs.

• Comfortable grooming in an open concept salon.

• Confident grooming unattended as well as with other groomers.

• Confident in dog handling skills that keep them safe and comfortable.

• Is able to remain calm under pressure.

• Has warm customer service and communication skills.

• Adept at using computer software and technologies.

• Is adept at dog behavior and body language.

Duties:

- Bathe, Hand Dry, and Style Dogs

- Clip and dremel nails.

- Provide Water and Potty Breaks

- Tidy up, clean, and sanitize throughout the day.

- Use apps and computer software to update client files.

- Help keep the atmosphere as calm as possible.

- Keep client notes up to date

- Help lift, hold, and calm dogs if needed
