Professional Dog Groomer

True Vibes Unleashed is a peaceful and professional dog grooming salon located in Shaker Heights, OH. We work with dogs one-on-one and they are picked up shortly after their service, creating a low-volume and calmer atmosphere. We are looking to add an experienced groomer to our team who is client-focused, adaptable, and personable.

Pay:

Groomers earn 50% commission on each groom + 100% of tips and are paid direct deposit once a week on Fridays.

Your commission will earn about $51-$90 per full haircut.

Schedule:

Starting at 2–3 days a week (Mon–Saturday), this role is designed to grow into a full-time position that will require Fridays and 3 Saturdays a month.

We are closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.

The ideal candidate has:

• At least 4 years of dog grooming experience in a salon setting.

• Is able to achieve 4-5 high quality grooms start-to-finish in a day.

• Is able and willing to groom dogs up to 100lbs.

• Comfortable grooming in an open concept salon.

• Confident grooming unattended and with clients present.

• Confident in dog handling skills that keep them safe and comfortable.

• Has warm customer service and communication skills.

• Adept at using computer software and technologies.

• Is adept at dog behavior and body language.

Duties:

- Bathe, Hand Dry, and Style Dogs

- Clip and dremel nails.

- Provide Water and Potty Breaks

- Tidy up, clean, and sanitize throughout the day.

- Use apps and computer software to update client files.

- Help keep the atmosphere as calm as possible.

- Keep client notes up to date

- Help lift, hold, and calm dogs if needed
